Instructions for Investigators and Experts

The Regional Managed Assigned Counsel office is committed to supporting our appointed attorneys who in turn are providing ardent, client centered, and community-based representation. We are dedicated to providing resources necessary to meet the needs of each individual case and client. To meet that end, it is the policy of the Regional Managed Assigned Counsel Office that appointed counsel are required to assess the need for an investigator or expert at the beginning and throughout each case. This office provides for the payment of these proper and necessary resources.
