Who Are We

The Regional Managed Assigned Counsel Office was created to collaborate with the District Courts of Wayne County in implementing the Michigan Indigent Defense Commission’s standards.  We are also honored to support the vast array of talented Michigan attorneys who serve the indigent defense population with their legal matters in the District Courts. Our staff is a “Justice League” who is committed to revolutionizing collaboration, service, and support for the indigent defense community in Wayne County’s District Courts.

Teresa Patton

Director

Teresa Patton serves as the Director of the Managed Assigned Counsel Office.  She received her JD from Wayne State University Law School in 2000.  In addition to her love for serving the community, she enjoys singing, roller skating, camping, hiking, fitness and spending time with her family and friends.

Rachel McRipley is an Attorney with the RMACO.  She received her JD from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2012.  She is the proud mother of two sons.  She loves being with her family and friends, going to concerts, and traveling.

Jennifer Nakhleh, System Manager at The Regional MAC Office

Jennifer Nakhleh

System Manager

Jennifer Nakhleh serves as one of the two System Managers for half of the District Courts in Wayne County. She received her Bachelors from Michigan State University in Elementary Education as well as a Bachelors of Music from Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO.  Jennifer is an avid animal & nature lover.  In her free time, she enjoys the waterside at Glen Lake in northern Michigan and the shores of Fort Myers Beach, FL along with playing flute, singing and participating in Community Theater.

Marilyn J. Clay, System Manager at The Regional MAC Office

Marilyn J. Clay

System Manager

Marilyn J. Clay serves as one of the two System Managers for the Regional Managed Assigned Counsel Office. Marilyn has a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Wayne State University in Management Information Systems. Marilyn has worked with the 19th District Court, Dearborn MI for over the past two years, holding the positions of MIDC Coordinator and Court Collections Clerk. She is very active with her Church, enjoys spending time with family, exercising, walking and weight training.

Danielle Robertson, a book keeper at the Regional MAC Office

Danielle Robertson

Accountant

Danielle Robertson serves as the Bookkeeper for the Regional Managed Assigned Counsel. Danielle has 10 years experience in the Financial Industry, and has spent the last 5 years working multiple positions within a local municipality.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, curling up with a good book, or spending a relaxing weekend camping.
