From the desk of the Director

The RMACO’s enduring mission is “to revolutionize criminal defense for indigent
defendants by supporting excellence in representation, and open and transparent
collaboration with all members of the criminal justice community.” This mission
and vision are paramount. By ensuring qualified attorneys represent indigent
clients, we aim to fundamentally change the perception and eliminate the stigma
historically associated with “court appointed attorneys.”
